'Phil' says that the team is gradually improving as they get ready for La Liga's start.
"It's a good feeling, I missed playing here, and I'm happy to be back," Philippe Coutinho has told the press following the Elche game.
"There wasn't much time to prepare, but the level of the team is going from good to better. With only one week left to start the La Liga competition, we work hard and we are all focused and want to have a good season."
Coutinho has returned to Barcelona after a successful loan at Bayern Munich, as he helped the Bavarians win their second treble in history.
Although not always a starter, the Brazilian's stats are quite impressive, as he recorded 11 goals and nine assists in 37 matches.
