Chelsea to offer Michy Batshuayi new deal before sending him out on loan to avoid losing him for nothing

Chelsea 'will offer Michy Batshuayi a new deal' before loaning him out for the next season, The Sun claims.

The Belgian's deal expires in less than 12 months and as no other club wants to sign him on a permanent basis, the Blues want to extend it for another year in order to sell him next summer.

Chelsea are even ready to increase the 26-year-old's wage by £15,000-a-week, but the club that takes him will have to pay the most of it.

Crystal Palace, West Bromwich and Newcastle can't afford a permanent transfer but are interested in taking Batshuayi on loan.

The Sun might not be the most credible outlet, but the same source broke the news about a new member of coaching staff joining Chelsea, so it's not the least credible, either.
