Chelsea youngster worried about the signing of Kai Havertz as competitor for starting XI place

Mason Mount is not happy with the arrival of Kai Havertz who is set to play in his position, according to German media outlet Bild, usually a reliable source.

The two 21-year-olds are set to fight for an attacking midfielder role, and Mount is reportedly concerned that the big signing will be put ahead of him.
As a 'proof' of the account, Bild points out that Mount is yet to congratulate Havertz on the Chelsea move on social media - something he quickly did with Thiago Silva.

This does not really add up with Mason's own words: back in January, the Chelsea academy graduates aid he was ready for more competition coming his way.

In any way, Havertz is such a versatile footballer that Frank Lampard will easily find a way to accommodate them both when necessary, so all Mount needs to do is to continue to give it all in training and matches.
