Paul Tierney will be in charge of the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Liverpool, the competition's official website has confirmed.
The 39-year-old worked at just 5 Chelsea games in the Premier League - and the Blues have a 100 per cent win record in these matches.
In the 2019/20 season, Frank Lampard's team defeated Southampton (4-1) and Aston Villa (2-1) away fro home with Tierney in the field.
On the other hand, he was also the referee when Chelsea were eliminated by Man United from the Carabao Cup last October.
Daniel Cook and Constantine Hatzidakis will be the assistant referees, while Stuart Attwell will be the fourth official.
