Chelsea willing to listen to offers for Giroud after Roma approach

AS Roma have approached Chelsea about Olivier Giroud's situation.

Giroud, after much hesitation last season, committed to a new one-year contract earlier this year.

Le 10 Sport says Roma have made contact in recent days to test the water about the veteran's situation.

But despite the arrival of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, Giroud has publicly declared he's happy where he is. And the response to Roma behind-the-scenes has been the same.

However at board level, it's suggested Chelsea would be willing to entertain offers for the centre-forward.
