France boss Didier Deschamps still have faith in Antoine Griezmann despite poor performance vs Sweden

France defeated Sweden 1-0 on Saturday and Griezmann missed a penalty kick and looked rather disappointing that night.

Deschamps insists Antoine's poor showing over the weekend won't prevent him from starting the Barca forward against Croatia on Tuesday.
“I have no doubts about him,” France head coach Didier Deschamps said of Antoine Griezmann, as quoted by Goal.

“He knows he didn't play his best game, but he's able to play again on Tuesday. I remember in November his first game was far from the best, but he had a very good second game. I will make the decision that I think is the best for the team and for him.”

The Barcelona forward wasn't at his best in France's 1-0 win over Sweden in the Nations League on Saturday. His disappointing performance was capped by a missed penalty kick.

The current World Cup champions will take on Croatia on Tuesday.
