'I want Koeman to be our coach for many years': Freixa speaks on his presidential campaign

Toni Freixa admits talking about the current Blaugrana boss gives him goosebumps.

He notices the Dutchman is already making decisions at Barca, possibly hinting at the recent big-name exits.

"When I talk about him [Ronald Koeman] it gives me goosebumps, he knows our club and he has great leadership," presidential candidate Toni Freixa confessed to Marca.

Freixa also hinted at the recent big-name exits, including Luis Suarez's transfer to Atletico: "He has arrived and is already making decisions. When you hire a coach you have to support him until the end."

"Koeman will not let us down, for sure, I'm convinced that he will do a great job and I want him to be our coach for many years."

Freixa is believed to be a front for current Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu who cannot run for the presidency next year.

He definitely isn't one of the favourites among the Blaugrana fans especially after hitting out at Leo Messi for his request to leave the club.
