New signings Ziyech, Thiago Silva and Chilwell will have to wait a little longer for their debuts.
Thiago Silva, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Ben Chilwell are set to miss the Liverpool game, says Frank Lampard during his pre-game press conference.
Silva is working on his fitness so the Liverpool game will be too early for him to make his Chelsea debut.
Chilwell is still nursing an injury he picked up last season.
No specific return date has been set for Pulisic who was injured in the FA Cup final last season, or for Ziyech who is also yet to make his Chelsea debut.
Timo Werner is fit and will play a part in this game, Lampard adds.
