League 1 Champion PSG 'interested' in signing Chelsea defender Rudiger
A season-long loan is most attractive to the Ligue 1 champions.
According to Matt Law of The Telegraph, a very reliable source of information, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Antonio Rudiger.
The French club are waiting to find out whether or not he will be made available on loan or for a permanent transfer.
A season-long loan is the most attractive option to PSG, but Chelsea may want Rudiger to extend his contract before granting such a move, the report adds.
Rudiger has less than two years remaining on his contract and it is club policy to extend the contract of a player going out on loan in order to ensure that his value does not drop.
Chelsea would be open to a permanent sale, but PSG’s interest has so far focused on a loan deal.
Reports from Germany have also credited Barcelona and Roma with an interest in Rudiger, who will most likely be the club's 5th choice centre-back this season if he stays.
