Suarez 'didn't deserve to be thrown out' of Barca, according to Messi.

Luis is proud to leave a positive legacy at Camp Nou but is now motivated to succeed at Atletico.

"Leo knows me well and is well aware of my level of conviction. It's a source of pride to be able to leave a positive legacy behind me," Luis Suarez said of Lionel Messi's defence of his, as quoted by Goal.

"I've now moved on and joining this competitive side [Atletico Madrid] is a major motivation."

On Friday, Messi claimed that Suarez 'didn't deserve to be thrown out' of Barcelona in a way that the club's board managed his move to Atletico Madrid.

The likes of Neymar and Dani Alves supported Leo's attack on Bartomeu and Co. but there were also a few Barca fans who didn't like the Argentine's statement.
