Barcelona want to review the contracts of Sergio Busquets (€15m per season) Jordi Alba (€9m), Sergi Roberto (€10m) and Gerard Pique (€13m), Diario AS report.
The first three players will lose their importance under Ronald Koeman and the club want to adjust their wages accordingly.
As for Pique, the centre-back is expected to remain a starter, but the reduction of his salary is also discussed.
Another way for the Catalans to lighten the wage bill is player sales; for example, Blaugrana are said to be ready to let Ivan Rakitic leave for Sevilla for free.
