Real Madrid boss Zidane confirms they won’t make any summer signing after Betis win

The Frenchman was happy to see his side fight through their first league win of the season
But he made it clear that Los Blancos won’t partake in any transfer activity in the last week of the window.

When asked about whether Real Madrid will make any signings before the end of the summer transfer window on October 5, Zinedine Zidane said (as quoted by FootballCritic): “There won't be signings in the week that remains of the transfer window.”

Los Blancos have been linked with a possible move for free agent Edinson Cavani, who is interested in joining up with us.

But with Luka Jovic and Borja Mayoral there to compete with Karim Benzema, it’s unlikely that Zizou will reinforce his attack next week.

Madrid have already made it clear to their squad that they won’t make any signings as they intend to save up money for next year, when they’ll go all out to sign Kylian Mbappe as well as other promising players.
