Real Madrid have denied reports in the Belgian media that they actually paid Chelsea €160 million for the transfer of Eden Hazard last summer.
According to Marca, a respected Spanish outlet, the La Liga giants want the Blues to publicly disclose that the initially reported figure of €100 million is correct.
Earlier this week, reports in high-profile Belgian outlets Het Laatste Nieuws and La Derniere Heure claimed that Madrid agreed to pay Hazard's €160 million fee (including bonuses) in three installments (€40m + €56m + €64m).
