Real Madrid star Ramos now the highest-scoring defender in International football history
Sergio Ramos has become the defender with the most goals in the history of international football after his latest brace for Spain in their 4-0 win over Ukraine in the UEFA Nations League.
The Real Madrid captain scored the opener for La Roja with a composed penalty before scoring an emphatic header to create history.
Ramos has scored 23 goals for the national side, also becoming the highest-scoring centre-back in his country’s history.
The 34-year-old had a brilliant campaign for Real Madrid last season, scoring 13 goals in all competitions and ending up as our second-highest goalscorer behind Karim Benzema.
