Selling Semedo means that Barca can finally make a few additions themselves.
Nelson Semedo is close to joining Wolverhampton, with the operation expected to cost €30m plus variables, RAC1's reputable Gerard Romero reports.
The transfer could be closed already on Monday, September 21.
As a replacement for the right-back, Barcelona are following Ajax's Sergino Dest and Norwich City's Max Aarons.
The Portuguese right-back has made 124 appearances for Blaugrana, scoring two goals and registering 11 assists.
