The manager is happy with a clean sheet in the first game of the season.
Speaking to Movistar after the Real Sociedad draw, Zinedine Zidane said: "We are happy with the game, we did well defensively, offensively.
We missed the goal, especially in the first half, we played well for 40 minutes.
"In the second we have not created chances, in general we can be happy with what we did. Defensively we have not conceded anything, and that is important.
"Then what we are going to do is work, find a solution at the front. We know that we have to improve there, and we will try to improve."
Real Madrid looked tidy at the back against La Real although the lack of intensity in the final third is obviously concerning for the manager.
