Tammy Abraham reveals what Frank Lampard told Chelsea players after torrid 1st half vs West Brom

The Blues were three goals behind at half-time.
Lampard had to lift his players up as he did not feel they were ready to fight.

Thankfully, Chelsea managed to convert their chances after the break.

"I had a big chance first half. Someone at my level should take those chances, while they scored from every shot," Tammy Abraham told Sky Sports after the West Brom draw.

"We had to keep going and not drop our heads. [The manager] had to lift us up, he said we don’t look like a team ready for the second half.

"At our level we shouldn’t make those errors but we’re still a work in progress," he added. "I knew we’d get a few chances; we kept going even though it looked impossible.

"We need to cut out the mistakes as a team, not just defenders. We need to be strong and keep encouraging one another."

After a horrific first half, Chelsea managed to pull back a three-goal deficit, with Abraham tapping in the equaliser in the injury time.
