The youngster doesn't want to find him in hte same situation he did last season, when he barely got any minutes.
Jean-Clair Todibo's main goal for the upcoming season is to get as much action as possible, L'Equipe report, and has asked Barcelona to let him leave.
The Catalans have told the centre-back that he'll have the role of a rotational player if the stays.
However, Barca are also open to letting Todibo leave on loan; Everton, Wolverhampton, Leicester City and Benfica are said to be interested.
Last term, the 20-year-old managed only 13 matches: three for Blaugrana and 10 for Schalke 04.
