Wijnaldum does not have a Barcelona style as for me: Former Barca midfielder Oriol Romeu

The La Masia graduate is not a fan of Koeman's favourite.

“For me, Wijnaldum does not have a Barcelona style“, former Barca midfielder Oriol Romeu told RAC1.

“But Thiago Alcantara is one of the best midfielders in Europe today.“

Ronald Koeman, who coached Romeu at So'ton in the 2015/16 season, wouldn't agree with the La Masia graduate as Georginio Wijnaldum reportedly remains his primary midfield target for this transfer window.

Barca, however, are yet to make an official bid for the Liverpool man.

As for Thiago, the Spaniard won't return to Camp Nou anytime soon as his move to Anfield from Bayern Munich is all but confirmed.
