Fati has contributed to four goals in two La Liga games this season and Roberto is delighted with the youngster's rise.
“Ansu is still very young but he’s showing he deserves to be in the team,” Sergi Roberto told the post-Celta presser on Thursday.
“He’s scoring, he works hard and I’m so happy for him. I just hope he continues because he helps us a lot.”
Ansu Fati started off his La Liga season with a brace and an assist in Barcelona's 4-0 victory over Villarreal last weekend. The 17-year-old also scored the opener in Thursday's 3-0 win at Celta.
It took the youngster 142 minutes of playing time to contribute to four league goals this term. Considering his incredible form, Fati is all but confirmed starter for the Sevilla clash on Sunday.
