De Bruyne reveals he is not interested whether Barcelona captain Messi comes to Manchester City or not

Kevin De Bruyne is satisfied with Man City's current squad and reveals If Leo Messi joins them, it'll be a good thing but doesn't really care about it.

"I don't really care [whether Messi comes], to be honest. If he comes, it's a good thing, if he doesn't there are enough good players at the club who I enjoy playing with, so that is not for now," Kevin De Bruyne has told Sky Sports.

Manchester City emerged as a potential destination for Messi after he handed in a transfer request at Barcelona in August. The Catalans refused to let the Argentine go, so he'll stay at Camp Nou for at least one more season.

The 33-year-old is out of contract in 2021 and is yet to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal. If he decides to leave Barca next summer, City would be interested in bringing him to the Etihad, as per the chief football operations officer at City Football Group.
