Manchester United boss confirms united trying seal more signings before the end of the transfer window

The gaffer indicates that there is being work done in trying to seal more signings before the end of the transfer window.

He reiterates the fact that United are looking to strengthen their squad for the long-term.

When asked about whether Man United will make any signings before the transfer deadline day on Monday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “When we’re planning, you’ve got players here we believe in, the transfer window is still open for a little while and the club has been working and know my view.

“We’re here to strengthen in the long term as well. I’m not going to say what’s acceptable for other teams in this difficult period. We’ll tell you.”

Ole seems to be very cagey about potential signings as Ed Woodward & Matt Judge scramble to get the signings done before deadline day.

United are yet to make any progress on the Alex Telles deal and are struggling to complete the deal to sign Jadon Sancho, failing to do which could mean that we sign Ousmane Dembele on loan from Barcelona.

After the Champions League draw yesterday, it’s quite clear that United need to make quality additions soon or we can be in for a disappointing season ahead with the kind of a squad we have.
