Real Madrid Players Rating vs Levante: Thibaut Courtois 9/10 with a cleansheet

There's a lot to talk about so let's see how our boys fared against Levante.

Thibaut Courtois: 9/10
Courtois deserves all the praises in the world for saving many of Levante's shots on target. A well-deserved clean sheet for the Belgian.

Ferland Mendy: 8.5/10
Mendy's brilliance at left-back is criminally underrated. He supplied crosses and also combined beautifully with Vinicius.

Sergio Ramos: 8/10
A captain's performance like always from Ramos. He rallied the defence well - barring a couple of moments where Levante threatened - but was unlucky to have his goal disallowed by VAR.

Raphael Varane: 7/10
Provided ample support for Ramos and did a decent job overall.

Nacho Fernandez: 4/10
We miss Dani Carvajal. That's all there is to say. Nacho looked out of his depth and was way too sloppy and slow.

Casemiro: 5/10
He struggled whenever Levante pressed on the ball - a fact our opponents tried to take full advantage of.

Luka Modric: 9/10
At 35, he could give any 25-year-old a wild run for his money. He's our midfield engine and it's scary to think of Real Madrid playing without Modric.

Fede Valverde: 6/10
Valverde kept things ticking in the midfield but allowed Levante to capitalise on a couple of occasions.

Vinicius Junior: 7.5/10
Scored our only goal of the game and was the sharpest among our attackers. However, he missed a couple of good chances.

Karim Benzema: 6/10
What was looking like another bad day at work for the Frenchman, turned into sweet redemption as he scored a goal in the final minute of the game. However, he struggled with and without the ball and squandered way too many chances and that's why he receives a relatively lower rating despite scoring.

Marco Asensio: 8/10
Asensio was all over the place but in a good way - he put in a good shift on the right-wing. He made some quick runs and his decision-making was pretty great too.

Subs:

Rodrygo: 5/10
Made a few decent crosses but looked pale in comparison to Vinicius.

Lucas Vazquez: 4/10
One of his crosses were headed away but that's about it.

Martin Odegaard: N/A
Came on too late to make a decent impact.

Isco: N/A
