The Brazilian scored Madrid opening goal of the game, however, he feels Madrid lacked the right rhythm against Levante.

Speaking after the 2-0 win over Levante, Vinicius Junior told Movistar: "We are happy with today's victory.

"I am happy with my goal, but I missed a chance that I can’t miss.

"We are lacking a bit of rhythm. When we come back from the national teams we will look better."

The young Brazilian was among our better players of the night but he's right - Real Madrid have plenty of work to do.

However, given the number of key first-team players who are currently injured, this is a good result since we've got three points in the bag!
