Sergino Dest give reason why he 'didn't need to think twice' before joining Barcelona

Sergino Dest was choosing between Bayern and Barca before he eventually agreed on moving to Camp Nou.

The player assures that he has always dreamed about playing for Barca and mentions Ronaldinho as his club's favourite legend.

"I chose Barcelona because I've always dreamed about playing for Barca. Ronaldinho is my idol and a legend at this club. When I heard about Barca's interest, I didn't need to think twice," Sergino Dest has said on Dutch TV show NOS.

At the presentation, however, Sergino mentioned Dani Alves as his childhood idol. Seems like our new defender is simply obsessed with Barca's legendary Brazilians!

The US international was officially presented as a Barcelona player on Friday.

Dest completed his €26m move from Ajax to the Blaugrana on Thursday. The 19-year-old will wear the No. 2 shirt at Barca.
