"We're waiting for his license to be resolved,": Barcelona boss speaks on Dest stand ahead of Sevilla clash

Koeman says that Barca are still working on Dest's documentation so the youngster might miss the next match.

The coach sees Sergino ready to compete with Roberto for the starting spot.

"Sergino Dest? I don't know if he can enter the list [for the Sevilla match]. We're waiting for his license to be resolved," Ronald Koeman has said during the press conference ahead of the next La Liga match.

"He has a lot of quality, at 19, he has already played at the highest level. We're reinforcing ourselves with him.

"Sergi Roberto is doing well. There's a lot of competition. Dest is the future but it doesn't mean he can't play now. He has played at a high level at Ajax."

Dest's arrival was made official on Thursday. The right-back trained alone on Friday and joined the group session on Saturday.

Perhaps it's too risky to play him in the next match even if Barcelona solve the problem with his license in time.
