Luis de la Fuente says that Pedri has exceptional potential, the coach highlights the player's maturity off the pitch.

"Pedri is already a reknown player despite his youth, he is very important to us. I am sure that if he continues to progress, he will have his chance at the senior level, even at such a young age," Spain U21 coach Luis de la Fuente has told the media, according to Mundo Deportivo.

"He is a player who has an exceptional potential and who is taking advantage of his opportunities. He is also showing a very important maturity off the field despite his youth."

Despite being only 17 years old, Pedri already plays for Spain's U21 national team. Ansu Fati, who's a few weeks older than the midfielder, already plays for the senior national team.

This season, Pedri has already made nine appearances, scoring one goal.
