Unzue predicts that the current season is going to be a tough one for Barca.
The former assistant says Koeman was a good choice for the Catalans because he knows the club.
"It is not going to be an easy year but there are many reasons to be excited. There is a change in dynamics in the team, Ronald Koeman has been a very good choice because he knows Barcelona and that is very important," former Barca assistant Juan Carlos Unzue has told Diario Sport.
Under Koeman, the Catalans have so far registered five wins, two draws and two losses. While our run in the Champions League has been impeccable, La Liga proved to be more of a challenge, as Barca currently sit in 12th place.
As for Unzue, he used to work as the goalkeepers' coach under Pep Guardiola and later returned as the assistant coach to Luis Enrique.
