'He was decisive with the assist': Giroud impressed with Mount's improvement

Olivier Giroud praised Mount for settling into the midfield. He said Mount is on a very good run of form.

Giroud said the team is very happy to have Mount with them.

“He’s in a very good run. He’s settled well now in this midfield 3, he’s enjoying himself and improving every day,” Giroud told the club's official website.

“I’m happy for him because again he was decisive with his assist for Callum. We're all happy to have this guy in the team and dressing room.”

Giroud scored the winner for Chelsea against Rennes following a save from the French club's keeper.

Mount has received praise from many players and pundits following his excellent performance in the Champions League.
