Laporta will run for presidency, set to make official announcement soon

Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta will run for the office again, reliable RAC1 report.

It is expected that he'll make the official announcement on Thursday, November 26.

The ex-president will then present his project on Monday, November 30 at the Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona.

Laporta unsuccessfully ran for president in 2015 when Josep Maria Bartomeu ended up winning the office.

Joan Laporta served as Barcelona's president between 2003 and 2010; under him, the club won 12 trophies, including two Champions League titles.

Victor Font, Xavier Vilajoana, Jordi Farre, Agusti Benedito, Luis Fernandez Ala, Toni Freixa and Pere Riera have all officially confirmed they will run for president.
