The 23-year-old was rewarded for his brilliant hat-trick performance against Atalanta.

Jota was the most popular choice in online voting, beating Alassane Plea (Borussia Monchengladbach), Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund) and Youssef En-Nesyri (Sevilla).
