Neither Riqui Puig nor Carles Alena has been included in Spain U21 squad for the Euro qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Israel.
Puig featured in September and October games for Spain's youth side.
As for Alena, the 22-year-old's last appearance for the U21 team was in September.
Both players are out of favour for Ronald Koeman; the two have played 10 minutes combined this season.
Lack of game time in Barcelona is causing a huge decline in both players development and a loan deal in January won't be bad at all if they are to continue developing.
