Real Madrid is willing to offer Sergio Ramos a 2-year extension to his contract which expires in 2021, as per Cadena SER’s El Larguero.
However, Los Blancos will not be able to give him a wage increase due to the current financial crunches caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In fact, it is said that Madrid might soon have to negotiate another salary cut for players if their revenue doesn't improve – with the lack of fans in games affecting their finances.
Ramos is keen on extending his Madrid contract and after his impressive start to the season, it’s probably only a matter of time before he signs the deal.
