Chelsea veteran defender Thiago Silva has been nominated for October’s Premier League Player of the Month award.
Silva joined Chelsea from PSG after enjoying a successful eight seasons with the Paris based club winning Ligue 1 titles.
Since joining Chelsea, the 36 years old has brought stability to the Chelsea defence helping them keep 7 clean sheets across all competition.
The following players will rival the Brazilian for the prize: Che Adams, Conor Coady, Pablo Fornals, Jack Grealish, Harry Kane, Kyle Walker and Son Heung-min.
The winner will be announced on Friday, November 13.
