Real Madrid is optimistic about their chances of signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, according to AS.

It's also said that Haaland's rumoured release clause of €75m does not exist.
He has a gentleman’s agreement with the Bundesliga side to leave for a fee to be fixed at the time of sale.
Madrid is hopeful that the Norwegian striker will be attracted by the prospect of playing with fellow countryman Martin Odegaard and have been eyeing him as a successor to Karim Benzema.
Haaland has had an excellent start to the season with Dortmund, scoring 10 goals and managing 3 assists in just 10 games.
