ames Rodriguez to miss Chelsea clash with injury

Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Colombian striker James Rodriguez was unable to train so he will miss Chelsea clash due to injury.

Ancelotti also stressed how important the player is to the team but said they will miss him but will find a way to adapt to the loss.

"He was not able to train, nothing special but he was not able to train. We have to look at him after the game, to see if he will be able to train and play against Leicester," Ancelotti said during his pre-match press conference.

"James is a fantastic player for us, he did really well at the beginning and had some problems after the game against Liverpool.

"But we have to be, and we will be, able to adapt. We have a good squad, we are going to play a little bit different."

James has been impressive since joining Everton scoring 3 goals and 3 assists in 10 appearances.
