Rangers eye January loan move for Chelsea young midfielder Billy Gilmour

Billy Gilmour was fantastic for the Blues on his return from injury as he put in a man of the match performance against Krasnodar.

However, the teenager might be on his way out for a loan deal in January, The Times report.

Rangers are among the contenders to sign Gilmour on loan next month and Frank Lampard is reportedly open to the prospect of sending the young midfielder away for a few months.

Gilmour could struggle for game time at Chelsea once all the starters are back - it would be hard for him to start consistently in the midfield over Kante, Havertz, Mount or Kovacic.

Therefore, the Blues would be willing for him to play elsewhere until the end of the season.
