Amad Diallo Manchester United Debut Has Been Determined

Amad Diallo Manchester United Debut

Amad Diallo has completed his move to Manchester United after flying in earlier this week.

The 19-year-old, who could end up costing United £39million once all the add-ons and clauses are taken care of, initially signed on transfer deadline day in the summer.

He’s spent the last few months with Atalanta, but only made two appearances for the first team – one each in the Champions League and Serie A.

The teenager was bought after a failed attempt at signing Jadon Sancho in the summer and is likely to come in as a long-term option on the right-wing.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now confirmed Diallo might not be thrown in at the deep end straight away.

He is eligible to play as soon as possible, and could even play against Liverpool next weekend in a must-win Premier League clash.

Diallo was a part of Atalanta’s Covid-19 protected bubble and therefore won’t have to self-isolate or be a part of a quarantined unit before joining the training.

Solskjaer hinted Diallo could follow in the footsteps of Facundo Pellistri by playing for the under-23 side before joining the senior set-up.
