The Uruguayan defender has made 15 La Liga appearances for Barcelona since his debut outing for the Catalans in October 2019.
Barcelona is yet to lose a single game out of those 15 matches with the Uruguayan on the pitch.

Ex-Barca midfielder Paulinho, meanwhile, holds the record for the most opening matches in La Liga without a loss in the 21st century - 34.
Araújo joined Barcelona on the 29 of August 2018, He signed a five-year contract with FC Barcelona for a fee of €1.7 million, plus €3.5 million in variables; he was initially assigned to the reserves in Segunda División B.
He made his first-team – and La Liga – debut on 6 October of the following year, coming off the bench to replace Jean-Clair Todibo in the 73rd minute of a 4–0 home win against Sevilla FC; however, he was sent off in the 86th minute for tackling Javier Hernández.
For the 2020–21 season, Araújo was promoted to the main squad, being handed the number 4 jersey. On 19 December 2020, he scored his first La Liga goal for Barcelona in a 2–2 home draw against Valencia.
