Aston Villa manager, Dean Smith won his first Manager Award in his managerial career after winning 4 games and 1 draw in the Month of December.

Dean Smith was appointed last two seasons ago and took his one season to adapt but he has eventually adapt on his second season leading Aston Villa to the 4th position of the premier league last month.

He broke the 13 year record as the first Aston Villa manager to win the premier league manager of the Month.

The last time an Aston Villa manager won the manager of the Month, Aston Villa eventually won the league that year.

Dean Smith said after winning the award: I’m really delighted, winning this award with a team like Aston Villa takes hardwork and diligence. With the help of my players and my assistant manager, we’ll May win the premier league.”
