Dimitar Berbatov reacts to Luis Suarez exit: 'Barca didn't respect him'

Luis Suarez has had a very prolific start to his Atletico career Dimitar Berbatov believes that Barca regret letting Suarez go.

Meanwhile, he's enjoying life at Atletico and should have no regrets, the Bulgarian notes.

"Luis Suarez should be very happy with the way things are going because they did not treat him well at Barcelona (...) Barcelona didn't respect him and now they regret letting Suarez go. I am sure that Suarez will have no regrets about having left seeing what he is enjoying at Atletico," former Bulgaria and Man United striker Dimitar Berbatov has said, as quoted by El Pais.

"Look, look at how Atletico is now leading the league table. Ten points ahead of the second place with one game in hand. Suarez must be laughing out loud now," Berbatov added.

Luis Suarez has scored 12 goals in his first 15 La Liga games for Atletico Madrid after leaving for free in the summer. It's the best start for a player at a new club in La Liga since Cristiano Ronaldo scored 13 goals in the same number of games in 2009.
