Havertz’s Former Boss Explains Why He Is Struggling At Chelsea

Kai Havertz has struggled massively since his arrival in London as he was a big hit in Germany and was raising eyebrows as a very good talented young midfielder. Even called the next Mesut Ozil at some stage.

After signing for Chelsea, Following the London team spent £71m for his signature winning the race ahead of a host of big European clubs such as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid whom were unable to spend big due to the onging coronavirus pandemic.

The midfielder looked awful from his early start, though some fans were backing him as he wasn’t playing in his preferred position as of then, due to injuries to some of his new teammates.

But after the team was injury free especially the attacking players, Havertz was allowed to play in his natural position.

This week Chelsea’s board were disturbed as to the inability of Frank Lampard to get the best out of his big money signings.

Bayer Leverkusen boss, Peter Bosz has said that fellow new signing Hakim Ziyech is the reason behind his bad performances, as Ziyech position is behind Havertz poor form.

“Havertz best quality lies on the opposition box and his new position demands going back to defend and that is not his strength.” He said.
