'He makes me want to watch football 24 hours a day': Owen praises Thiago

Michael Owen says that there's nobody in the PL quite like Thiago the way the midfielder disguises his passes is just incredible, as per Owen.

"This fella just makes me want to watch football 24 hours a day," ex-Liverpool striker Michael Owen told BT Sport.

"The way he looks around, the way he gives it the eyes. There’s nobody in the Premier League, nobody that plays like him.

"He’s playing a different type of game than everyone else. His disguise on passes is unbelievable."

Thiago came on for captain Jordan Henderson and once again showcased his class with an excellent no-look pass in the build-up to set up Liverpool's 3rd goal.

The Reds eventually ran out 4-1 winner against Aston Villa on Friday night.

Understandably, the opposition was not of the highest quality, but Thiago showed why he'll be a crucial player for Liverpool for the rest of the season.
