Jesse Lingard Set Join West Ham On Loan

Jesse Lingard West Ham Loan

West Ham are reportedly set to take Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard on loan until the end of the season.

The England international has fallen out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has failed to record regular appearances at Old Trafford, so far racking up just three this season.

The Times claim that Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion also hold an interest in the attacking midfielder but the prospect of moving to West Ham is a much more favourable option considering their position in the league and previous links with David Moyes.

Despite the imminent arrival of Jesse Lingard, West Ham are still pursuing options in the striking department and David Moyes will be keen to add competition and cover to Michail Antonio who has suffered with a number of injury issues throughout the season.

They had been linked with several strikers including Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri but the reported bid for the Moroccan international has been hit back by the Spanish club who view the forward as an integral part of their push for Champions League qualification and their journey into the knockout rounds of the competition this season.
