Salah Oxygen Tanks Covid-19 Sufferers

Liverpool hero Mohamed Salah has shown his selfless nature by gifting oxygen tanks those who are suffering from Covid-19 at the hospital in his hometown of Nagrig in Egypt.

The 28-year-old, who was born in the north-western Egyptian village, has recently provided funds for sport facilities, a girls’ school, an ambulance station and a sewage treatment plant. Having founded his charity association back in 2017.

Speaking to a Cairo radio station, Nagrig Charity Association NCA director Hassan Bakr has said: “Salah and his family have donated oxygen cylinders to the Basyoun Central Hospital to help coronavirus patients in Nagrig.

“He often intervenes in problems back in Egypt by donating.”

Salah donated food and fresh meat back in April when the pandemic started to spread through the area, and the £30,000 donation he made to build an ambulance station serves 30,000 local people.

The NCA serves around 500 people in need, which includes those of all ages.
