‘People who don’t like me and say I’m overrated – that doesn’t matter’: Pogba hits back at his critics

Speaking to Sky Sports about the stern criticism he receives, Paul Pogba said: “People are going to speak, people are going to share their opinion.

“People are going to say what they think because they're allowed to but it doesn't change my way of working, it doesn't change my way of being myself. I will always be myself.

“This is something people have to... they don't have to understand, but they will anyway - I won't change. This is me, I cannot change. You like me or not, this is me. This is Paul, that's how I grew up. That's how I am.

“People that don't like me, that I do things, my haircut - stuff like that, 'I don't play well, I'm not good, I'm overrated' - that doesn't matter. It's your opinion, and keep it because it make me want to work even more to make the person change his mind.

He also sent a brilliant message to his critics, saying: “It's good, it's good for me too. It makes me work even harder, so thank you. I thank them always!”

Well, it looks like Pogba has his confidence back after his impressive recent performances and it’s great to see him silencing his doubters. The Frenchman will hope to continue his great form and put in another emphatic performance to help Man United defeat Liverpool on Sunday.
