Frenkie de Jong appears to have avoided a serious injury after colliding with Dani Garcia the Spanish Super Cup final loss over the weekend.

As the Dutchman joined Barcelona's pre-Cornella training on Wednesday, it can be seen that he escaped with a bruise after that horrible incident against Athletic.

De Jong has missed only one game across all competitions this season so far and is expected to feature against Cornella in the Spanish Cup on Thursday.
