Pogba’s Future Talks Suspended, New Date Scheduled

Pogba's Future Talks Suspended

Paul Pogba’s future will not be decided before the season is over, with discussions on the shelves of Manchester United up to the end of their title run.

They say a week is a long time in football and Paul Pogba has proven exactly how long a month is in the sport, completely turning things around at United in that time.

Back in December the Frenchman, and more specifically his agent, caused outrage at Old Trafford when Mino Raiola claimed his client no longer wanted to be at the club.

It came the day before United needed to earn a point away to RB Leipzig to qualify from their Champions League group, which Solskjaer’s side went on to lose.

At that point, there barely seemed a way for the former Juventus player to make his way back into Solskjaer’s plans for the first team for the rest of the season, but things have changed a lot.

In the past few games, Pogba has turned things around, as have United, and his goals against Burnley last week and Fulham on Wednesday have taken the team to the top of the table.

Given the previous outburst and the fact Pogba’s contract expires next summer, it’s still expected he will leave the club this year.

However, according to the Daily Mail, all talks about the 27-year-old’s future have been put on hold until the summer.
