According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, Richard Garlick will soon be appointed as Arsenal’s new director of football operations to work closely with Edu.
This position has been vacant following Huss Fahmy's departure in October last year.
Garlick's responsibilities at Arsenal will include football operations (first team and academy), all player contract management and relationships with football’s governing bodies.
Prior to taking responsibilities at the Premier League in the summer of 2018, he was the director of football administration at West Brom and also worked at a number of law firms.
