Solskjaer Gets One Condition To Sign Jack Grealish In £90m Deal

Manchester United were desperate to sign Aston Villa star Jack Grealish last summer but were told they had to fork out £90m.

That proved too much and in the end, the playmaker signed a new contract but there are reasons why the Red Devils are confident a deal can be pulled off this summer.

According to The Athletic, Villa and Grealish could come to a gentleman’s agreement to let him leave for a Champions League club at the end of the season.

It will mean the Red Devils will have to axe Paul Pogba or face losing him for nothing.

Rather than go down that painful road, the club are desperate to recoup the £89m they spent on the Frenchman back in 2016.

The Atheltic say those funds will then be used to sign Grealish from Villa.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the Aston Villa captain but the Red Devils will need a sizeable bid to tempt Dean Smith into a sale.

Meanwhile, United legend Rio Ferdinand has told his former club to everything they can to sign the Birmingham-born star – even if it means canning Pogba.
